TOMMY SHERIDAN: STANCE ON TERROR IS HYPOCRISY.

Byline: TOMMY SHERIDAN

I'M not advocating it, but in the interests of consistency, the UN should be preparing to carpet bomb the USA.

You see, the justification for reducing Afghanistan to rubble was that Government's alleged sheltering of terrorists. The Taliban were not my cup of tea but they did not carry out the September 11 attacks.

They were nonetheless bombed to smithereens because some of those behind the terror attacks were alleged to be hiding there.

So what about Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch? They openly boast about terrorist attacks on Cubans, including the 1976 bombing of a Cuban Airlines plane.

Yet they waltz around Miami as two-bit celebrities and America refuses to extradite them to Cuba.

Being a terrorist is okay as long as you're on the side of the rich and powerful.
