TOMMY SHERIDAN: Bread not Bombs.
Byline: TOMMY SHERIDANA GROUP of youngsters raised my spirits the other night, I have to say.
After commenting on my "Bread not Bombs" CND t-shirt they proceeded to ask questions like, what is the difference between socialism and communism, can socialism work, do we need nuclear weapons and what does CND stand for?
They were all 16 and 17 and each of them seemed genuinely concerned about war, nuclear weapons and justice.
All of them also had plans from careers in music to being sports agents and electricians.
The majority of youngsters are the salt of the earth - we should praise them more and condemn them less.
