TOMMY SHERIDAN'S COLUMN: CUBA SUCCESS STORY.
ON THE same international theme of this week's column, I have to mention this Saturday's public meeting in Glasgow's Moir Hall to build solidarity with Cuba. Despite 44 years of an illegal economic blockade by the mighty USA, Cuba has built a health and education system which is the envy of most in the so-called first world, never mind the poorer developing world.
Come along and listen to Cuba's success story and help build direct solidarity between Scotland and Cuba.
This week's good cause donation goes to the Scottish Cuba Solidarity Campaign. For more information, contact them on 0141 221 2359.
