 TOKICO (USA) INC. NAMES NEW PRESIDENT
 DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Teiji Katsumori has been


appointed president of Tokico (USA) Inc. He replaces Hisashi Nishigohri who has been reassigned to the parent company headquarters, Tokico Ltd., in Japan.
 Katsumori joins the U.S. subsidiary after serving as a board director with Tokico Ltd. During the course of his career with Tokico Ltd., Katsumori has been recognized worldwide for his development of suspension patents for low pressurized twin tube gas shock absorbers and struts as well as adjustable and electronically controlled air suspension systems.
 During his assignment to Tokico (USA) Inc., Katsumori will be based at the company's headquarters and manufacturing plant in Berea, Ky.
 Nishigohri is promoted to executive managing director in charge of Automotive Headquarters and Quality Assurance at Tokico Ltd. During his U.S. assignment, Nishigohri was responsible for the establishment of Tokico's manufacturing facility in Kentucky which began production in June 1988. Since then, the plant has undergone numerous expansions and currently manufactures suspension and brake components for Ford, Chrysler and Nissan. Tokico (USA) Inc. maintains sales and engineering offices in Dearborn and Torrance, Calif. In addition to its automotive business for original equipment manufacturers, Tokico is a supplier of high-performance shock absorbers for the aftermarket and industrial painting robots for automotive and general industry applications.
