TOGO : Ministry of primary and secondary education and literacy (MEPSA) released GPN.

Ministry of primary and secondary education and literacy (MEPSA) released general procurement notice (GPN) for education and Institutional Strengthening Project (PERI).

The Government of Togo received a donation of Initiative Fast Track (FTI) for implementation accelerated education for all (EFA FTI) administered by the World Bank in an amount equivalent to $45millions had to finance the project Education and institutional strengthening (PILT), and proposes to use the funds to adjust of supplies, works and services to be acquired in this project. The project is funded by the Catalytic Fund of the Fast Track (FTI) Initiative.

The project includes the following components:

Component 1 - Access and retention: (i) construction and equipment of classrooms in the workplace Urbania through a book Responsible a master agency execution; (ii) construction and equipment of classrooms in rural areas whose mastery of book is delegated to eligible communities represented by the Management Committee of the beneficiaries (COGEP) primary schools of Grant of investment.

Component 2 - Quality support: (i) purchase and delivery of manuals and guides pourl' primary education; (ii) development of school textbooks (consultancy services); (ii) provision of grants operation at eligible schools across COGEP for the financing of teaching materials of charges ' maintenance, etc.)(iv) construction and equipment of three (3) schools normal teachers (ENI) in the regions of Kara, Maritime and Central across a master of work delegated to an executing agency.

Component 3 - Institutional strengthening: (i) technical support for the strengthening of capacities for management and supervision Her construction of schools; (ii) technical support to strengthen the capacity of the Department of teaching elementary and second aireet of literacy (MEPSA) in the implementation of the sectoral plan, in particular establishment of a sustainable system for the evaluation of the school achievements, support for the rationalization of the allocation of teachers in schools, support the development of plans for implementation of development of pre-school education and literacy, and support with in the preparation of a plan of implementation of programmes of health, nutrition, and fight the HIV/AIDS in school; and (iii) support to the MEPSA for strengthening its capacity for coordination and management of the programmes ectoriel.

Contracts financed by the World Bank will be passed in accordance with the procedures specified in the guidelines: procurement financed by the BIRD Loans and IDA (current edition) credits, and are open to all candidates that meet the conditions stipulated in the guidelines.
