TJ SYSTEMS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

 HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- TJ Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: TJSY) announced that it has named Michael F. Daniels to the newly created position of chief operating officer. "Mr. Daniels, 44, a director and formerly senior vice president, will assume most of the day-to-day responsibilities of the company, effective immediately," according to Mr. Theodore J. Orlando, CEO and founder. In his ten years of service to TJ Systems, Mr. Daniels has participated in every aspect of equipment leasing and all company matters. His background and experience will provide TJ Systems with the fresh, strategic and competent leadership necessary for continued growth. Mr. Orlando will continue to develop and oversee corporate planning, explore new areas of growth, seek future financing, and interface on current operations in concert with TJ Systems' management team.
 Mr. Daniels was instrumental in the development of TJ's market strategies which resulted in consistent growth to both revenue and net earnings and a solid blue-chip customer base which includes: Hertz, Tiffany & Co., General Electric, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Grumman Aerospace, American Express, and others. Mr. Daniels holds a B.S. degree in business administration from St. John's University.
 TJ Systems founded in 1980, became a public corporation in 1989. By 1987, the company expanded significantly as it began providing asset management leasing services. It has since grown in revenues from $6.3 million in 1988 to $12.9 million in 1992 with over $15 million projected for 1993. At this time, the company has reached $29 million in assets, and increased shareholders' equity to $5 million. Revenue has increased 105 percent since 1988 and net earnings 540 percent since 1988, with the company's portfolio of residual equipment value exceeding $10 million.
 TJ Systems Corporation is headquartered in Hauppauge, N.Y. The company's primary services fall under three headings: 1) leases of high-tech equipment -- specifically information processing, telecommunication and other "peripheral" equipment designed to client specifications and industry standards 2) sale of equipment 3) asset management.
