 TITAN AWARDED SUBCONTRACT
 SAN DIEGO, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Titan Corp. (NYSE: TTN)


has been awarded a subcontract by Hercules Defense Electronics located in Clearwater, Fla. The contract, valued at approximately $2.6 million plus the same amount in options, is for 550 sets of Titan's proprietary SECS 80 series of computer and memory modules for installation in the Hercules AN/AAR-47 missile warning system.
 The Navy Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is the contracting agency for the system, which has also been purchased by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army, and the U.S. Marine Corps, as well as the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia under foreign military sales programs.
 The contract is expected to go through mid-1995.
 The missile warning system provides slow-moving, low-flying aircraft such as helicopters and fixed-wing planes with an electro- optic detection system that alerts the crew to the launch of an anti- aircraft missile.
 The Titan Corp., headquartered in San Diego, designs, manufactures and installs high-technology information and electronic products and systems for government, commercial and international clients.
