TITAN AWARDED CONTRACT

 SAN DIEGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Titan Corp. (NYSE: TTN), who currently provides Battle Simulation Center support to sites in Seoul and Camp Casey, Korea; Fort Hood, Texas; and Fort Carson, Colo., has expanded its simulation support activities to Europe. Titan was awarded a multimillion dollar contract to support various Battle Simulation Centers (BSCs) and Battle Focus Trainer Centers (BFTCs) in Europe. Technologies Applications Inc. (TAI) was chosen as a team member based on their strong capabilities in the development and operation of defense system training simulators and their extensive system engineering experience in the European theater, including significant support to major training exercises. TAI will support Titan as a subcontractor.
 Titan will staff and operate BSCs/BFTCs at Frankfurt, Wuerzburg, Schweinfurt, Bad Kreuznach, Friedberg, Kaiserslautern, Darmstadt, Hohenfels, Veilseck, and Berlin, Germany, and at Vicenza, Italy.
 The Cost Plus Award Fee contract covers a base and two option years. The Titan/TAI team will consist of a core team of 22 personnel and an exercise support team which will vary in size based on the number and size of task orders that are issued. Total Titan/TAI team personnel staffing could reach up to 141 people if all tasks are executed.
 The Titan Corp., headquartered in San Diego, designs, manufactures, and installs high-technology information and electronic products and systems for government, commercial and international clients.
