TINY ROAD IS A BIG HIT.
And 17ft Elgin Street could get a bigger profile after tourist chiefs were asked to signpost it.
The stretch in Bacup, Lancs, was built in 1854 and attracts visitors from all over the world.
It has been in the Guinness Book of Records for over 30 years, despite gaining a few yards when an outside toilet was knocked down. "It will be good for Bacup to have its claim to fame acknowledged," said Councillor Michael McShea.
THE longest street in the world is Yonge street in Toronto, Canada at 1178.3 miles.
