Timber Resources International, Inc. (OTC BB: TMBE) announced January 12 that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Timber Products S.A. for the distribution of all Timber Resources products throughout the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Haiti and the Central American Commonwealth countries of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama:

Timber Products S.A. is headquartered in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic. The agreement, signed December 2, 1999, is expected to ultimately result in annual revenues of US$12 Million for Timber Resources International;

Timber Products S.A. purchased an initial order of 127,700 board feet of rough sawn lumber in December. The shipment, valued at US$191,500, included greenheart, shibadan, mora, andiroba, purpleheart and jatoba lumber. The goods were delivered for shipment to Santo Domingo on December 28 from Southern Hardwoods, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Timber Resources, which has production facilities at the Port of Pensacola, Florida.
