 TIMBER INDUSTRY TO HOLD RALLY
 The following news advisory was released today by the Timber


Industry Labor-Management Committee:
 WHAT: The Western Council of Industrial Workers, the


International Woodworkers of America, the Oregon Lands Coalition and other Pacific Northwest grassroots and labor organizations will hold a rally to demand a balanced solution to the timber supply crisis.
 WHERE: Douglas County Fairgrounds, Roseburg, Ore.
 (Take I-5 to exit 123.)
 WHEN: Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m.
 WHO: Speakers will include: U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio; Mike


Draper, executive secretary, Western Council of Industrial Workers; Jay Power, legislative representative for the National AFL-CIO; Irv Fletcher, president, Oregon AFL-CIO; Evelyn Badger, co-director of Workers of Oregon Development; and Charlie Janz, chairman, Oregon Lands Coalition.
