UNDERCOVER AT THE NEWS OF THE WORLD Channel 4, 11.05pm Hard to believe it's been over a year since the News of the World folded under dramatic circumstances. Claims of wrongdoing and even illegality within its operation aside, the newspaper was, in its heyday, responsible for bringing to light all manner of scandals, from political and financial to personal and sexual.

Often, it was criticised for doing so, but frequently it was praised for its skill in getting these sensational results. This programme looks at exactly how the stories came about and features contributions from some of those who were targeted, including jockey Kieren Fallon and George Galloway MP.

THE HOTEL INSPECTOR Five, 9pm Things aren't looking too good at Eastbourne's three star Mansion Lions Hotel. Mr Sheikh Abid Gulzar, the flamboyant owner, describes the hotel's design as "rich and good looking, just like myself". But hotelier Alex Polizzi thinks the hostelry's dcor and customer service is sorely lacking, while one online review is far from favourable listing it as 41st out of 41 - the worst hotel in the whole of Eastbourne. Alex thinks the owner should drop his business's four-star pretensions and concentrate upon improving its reviews. However, plans to improve the residence soon hit a setback.
