GANGSTA GRANNY Fun for all the family is guaranteed when Heartbeat Productions performs David Walliams' Gangsta Granny show at a number of outdoor theatre stages across the region.

The story revolves around Ben, an 11-year-old wannabe plumber fed up with spending his Friday nights at Granny's.

All she wants to do is play Scrabble and eat cabbage which isn't his idea of fun, so he goes searching for something more edible in the kitchen.

There, he stumbles upon an old biscuit tin. On opening it he discovers granny is actually an international jewel thief - and she needs his help to pull off her biggest heist yet.

Bring a picnic and wear suitable clothing for this outdoor production which can be seen at Crathes Castle, Banchory today at 6.30pm.

Thereafter it's at Pitmedden Garden at 6.30pm tomorrow; Gordon Castle Walled Garden, Fochabers, 5.30pm, on Saturday, and Brodie Castle, Forres, at 3pm and Leith Hall Garden and Estate, Kennethmont, 6pm, both on Sunday.
