THREE IN HOME HEALTH EXECUTIVES ASSIGNED NEW RESPONSIBILITIES; SALES, INFUSION AND CLINICAL SERVICES ARE PRIMARY FOCUS

 MINNETONKA, Minn., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Wesley N. Perry will become vice president - Sales, and Dr. Harry Alcorn Jr. will assume the role of vice president - Clinical Services, of In Home Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: IHHI), as part of the company's program to improve operating margins and cost effectiveness, according to Judy M. Figge, president and chief executive officer. Dr. Kevin D. Burns will be assigned special projects.

As part of this process, the company's reporting structure is being reassessed to meet our quality objectives," Figge said.
 Perry, formerly vice president - Business Development, will be responsible for supervision and direction of In Home Health's sales function. As vice president - Sales, he will oversee the interview/ hiring criteria, training and development, sales and marketing plans, educational materials, national contracts and related functions.
 Perry joined In Home Health in October 1990. He has been in the health care field for over 17 years, and holds a master's degree in cardiovascular nursing from the University of Alabama. He was involved in the home care industry for eight years prior to joining the company, serving as president of a seven-branch home care organization in the southwestern United States, where he focused on strategic planning, marketing development and improving profit margins.
 Prior to that, he was a divisional vice president of Curaflex Health Services Inc. in southeastern Texas. He was also manufacturer's representative with the hospital division of Cheeseborough-Ponds and has 11 years of experience in intensive care as a cardiovascular nursing specialist and director of critical care for the Veterans Administration Hospital System.
 "Wes' background and experience with branch operations makes him the most qualified person to lead our drive to increase our revenues in fiscal 1994 and for the longer term," Figge said.
 Dr. Alcorn, vice president - Marketing/Sales since 1992, will take charge of Clinical Services. His initial responsibility will be to direct the roll-out of In Home Health's perinatal program, which is currently in pilot operation in Minneapolis. He will also direct Infusion Pharmacy operations, with the responsibilities of all of Infusion Services, and will direct new product/services development. This will include the determination of what services present the greatest long-term potential.
 He joined In Home Health from Tokos Medical Corporation, where he was Western Zone manager. As the first pharmacist in the field at Tokos, he designed, developed and implemented new products and services for women's home care. Before Tokos, Dr. Alcorn worked at Home Health Care of America, now Caremark, as Midwest pharmacy manager, where he established new branches, hired and trained branch personnel and supported the sales program with training and clinical-marketing materials. Dr. Alcorn received a B.S. in pharmacy from Creighton University in Omaha, and a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Nebraska.

 Dr. Burns' new role will involve special assignments, such as documenting policies and procedures for the pricing and billing of Infusion Services. He will report directly to Dr. Alcorn. Dr. Burns was previously vice president - Infusion Services. He joined In Home Health from Critical Care America (now Medical Care America, Inc.), where he was pharmacy manager in its Minneapolis regional center.
