THOUGHT for the DAY.

IN ANCIENT Babylon, the bricks used for public buildings were stamped with the image of the King, and this demonstrated his approval and consent.

There is a an individual brick in a museum which tells a different story. A dog had run over the brick while wet, and almost obliterated the image of the King.

The Bible tells us that mankind was created to bear the divine image of God. Our disobedience and ingratitude have obliterated the stamp of His approval and pleasure.

The life of the Lord Jesus clearly bears this stamp of approval from God the Father. The Gospel of John tells us ordinary people were able to see His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Many damaged lives were restored by His grace and truth. God the Father will place His stamp of pleasure and approval upon those who humbly seek His forgiveness and restoration. Seek and find.
