THOR GETS LARGE ORDER FOR TRAVEL TRAILERS
NEW YORK, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Thor Industries, Inc. (NYSE: THO)

announced today that it had received $9.1 million in orders for 750 travel trailers to provide temporary housing for residents of southern Florida whose homes were destroyed by Hurricane Andrew.
Its Dutchmen Manufacturing subsidiary will build 400 travel trailers for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under a contract from one of their Florida dealers. The order, valued at $4.7 million, is the largest ever received by the company. Dutchmen has also received other dealer contracts, totaling $3.1 million, for 250 additional travel trailers, resulting from the hurricane.
In addition Thor's Four Winds International subsidiary, through its dealers, is providing in excess of 100 travel trailers, valued at $1.3 million, for homeless victims of the storm.
"Dutchmen travel trailers were chosen by FEMA because of our excellent value and pricing," said Dutchmen President C. David Hoefer. "Earlier this year Consumers Digest, the magazine 'for people who demand value,' named our top selling 30 feet, travel trailer as a Best Buy."
Thor is the second largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles in North America and the largest builder of small- and mid-size buses.
