THOMAS R. MCDADE ELECTED DIRECTOR AT THE COASTAL CORP.
HOUSTON, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas R. McDade has been elected to the board of directors of The Coastal Corporation (NYSE: CGP). McDade, 60, a trial lawyer, is the founding senior partner of the Houston law firm of McDade & Fogler. Prior to forming McDade & Fogler he was a senior partner in the Houston law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski. The Shreveport, La. native attended Texas A&M University and is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he earned his undergraduate and law degree. From 1956-1959 he served in the U.S. Air Force as a jet pilot. McDade is currently a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Bar Foundation and American Bar Foundation. He's listed in Who's Who in American Law, licensed in all state courts in the state of Texas, various federal courts and The Supreme Court of the United States. He resides in Houston with his wife Dorothy of 36 years. They have three daughters and three grandchildren. The Coastal Corporation is a Houston-based energy holding company.
