THOMAS G. DENOMME ELECTED TO CHRYSLER BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chrysler (NYSE: C) Board of Directors today elected Thomas G. Denomme a member of the Board of Directors. Denomme, 53, is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Chrysler Corporation, a position he has held since January 1, 1993. Prior to that he had been Executive Vice President, Corporate Staff Group.
 He is a member of the Office of the Chairman and the Corporate Executive Committee, which establishes policy, develops strategy, identifies business opportunities and approves long range plans. He is also President of the Chrysler Corporation Fund and the Chrysler Political Support Committee.
 Denomme joined Chrysler in 1980 as Director - Corporate Strategic
Planning. He was first elected a Vice President on April 9, 1981.
 Prior to Chrysler, he spent 19 years in a wide variety of positions at the Ford Motor Company.
 Denomme earned a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Detroit in 1966.
 He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Detroit and the Board of the American Automobile Manufacturers Association.
