THIOKOL COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF HUCK MANUFACTURING OGDEN, Utah, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Thiokol Corporation (NYSE: TKC)
announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the business of Huck Manufacturing Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Federal-Mogul Corporation (NYSE: FMO).
Huck, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., will operate as Huck International, Inc. with its present management and employees. Huck is a leading manufacturer of high-technology, proprietary fastener systems sold to the aerospace and industrial markets. Huck has current annual sales of approximately $175 million, about 1,400 employees, and 14 manufacturing, distribution and sales locations worldwide. Thiokol Corporation is an Industrial Fortune 500 company with current annual sales of $1.2 billion. The company has 12,000 employees at 11 locations nationwide.
