THE decision by the appeal court in Belfast to uphold a ruling against a Christian bakery which refused to bake a cake with a pro-gay marriage slogan is anything but a victory for freedom of expression.
Gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell claims it is just the opposite as it also implies that gay bakers could be forced by law to decorate cakes with homophobic slogans.
Those who ordered the cake from Ashers Baking Company knew they were devout Christians and would have difficulty baking it.
Funny, you couldn't see anyone pulling the same stunt on devout Muslims... I wonder why?
