THE WICKED WITCH; Dealer trades on after neighbour's overdose: EXCLUSIVE.
A DEALER known as the Wicked Witch of the North is selling drugs just weeks after her next-door neighbour died of an overdose.
Maggie Fanning peddles Valium to addicts near her home in Glasgow's Possilpark scheme.
Disgusted pals claim that sick Fanning regularly supplied Valium to addict Lorraine Connor, 22, who was found dead in her flat on
April 21 after a suspected overdose.
A pal of Lorraine said: "The witch knew Lorraine was taking far too many Valium but she didn't care.
"She was warned about what she was doing to people. We can't believe she is still dealing knowing her drugs killed a lassie next door." Last week Sunday Mail investigators watched Fanning as she peddled her pills from her dingy ground-floor flat.
Locals say long-haired Fanning earned her nickname because she is obsessed with the Wizard Of Oz.
One said: "She looks like a witch with her scraggy hair and pointed face - she's disgusting.
"She even called her dog Toto after the dog in the Wizard Of Oz film - she's a real weirdo." We watched as Fanning sold piles of knockdown-priced pills to a steady stream of junkies.
An associate said: "The witch is known for selling cheap valium - she can do 50 tablets for pounds 30." The greedy dealer told one customer: "There's at least 30 heroin dealers around here so who's going to bust me for selling pills?" Strathclyde Police last night confirmed they are investigating Lorraine's death.
