THE THUNDER GROUP SUBSIDIARY, PROTECTIVE APPAREL CORPORATION OF AMERICA,
 AWARDED CONTRACT BY OFFICE OF GENERAL SERVICES OF NEW YORK
 BOCA RATON, Fla., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Irwin N. Schneider, CEO of The Thunder Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTGI) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Protective Apparel Corporation of America ("PACA") a manufacturer of ballistic resistant garments was awarded the contract by the Office of General Services of the State of New York to provide soft body armor to the various law enforcement and other agencies of that state.
 Schneider further indicated that the one year contract could require its subsidiary to provide 3,000 or more vests to the state agencies.
 The Florida-based Thunder Group through its various subsidiaries is engaged not only in the manufacturer and distribution of ballistic resistant garments, but construction anchors and fasteners as well as medical devices utilizing the technology of light reflection rheography.
