THE SEATTLE TIMES: MEDIA JOB CONFERENCE FOR MINORITIES ON NOV. 19-21
 SEATTLE, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The following was released today by The Seattle Times:
 WHAT: A three-day "Media Job Conference for Minorities" sponsored by The Seattle Times, The American Society of Newspaper Editors and The Newspaper Association of America.
 WHEN: Nov. 19-21
 WHERE: DoubleTree Inn at Southcenter in Tukwila, south of Seattle
 WHY: To help minority college students, graduates and


journalists explore newspaper careers in reporting, editing, design, graphics, photography, production, advertising and marketing. Professional will critique students' work, suggest ways to improve their skills, and share ideas about breaking into the business. Also included: job interviews with personnel from the nation's top dailies and Northwest newspapers for internships and full-time positions.
 HOW MUCH: Registration is $25 for two nights at the DoubleTree; free for those who don't require lodging. Meals included at no cost. Registration limited to the first 75 applicants who qualify.
