THE ROCKEY CO.: FREE P.R. CLASSES OFFERED TO NONPROFITS

SEATTLE, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The following was released today by The Rockey Co.:
Who says you can't get something for nothing? That' exactly what several local public relations professionals are offering area nonprofit groups in a free six-week series of classes titled "No-Nonsense Nonprofit Public Relations."
According to Marilyn Hawkins, vice president at Seattle P.R. agency The Rockey Co.: "With the economy so tight, many nonprofit organizations are looking for pro bono help from advertising and public relations agencies. Instead of trying to assist each group individually, we're going to share our best ideas in a group setting and help them help themselves."
The classes are scheduled Wednesday evening, Jan. 12 to Feb. 16, 6-7:30 p.m., at The Seattle Times Auditorium, Fairview N. and John streets in Seattle. There is no pre-registration, but seating in on a first-come basis and is limited to 100 people from nonprofit groups.
