THE RAZ: Dougie's a pop picker.

Byline: LEE-ANN FULLERTON AND BEVERLEY LYONS

WAVE when you get to the bridge, Dougie.

We always thought that Travis star Dougie Payne had a nose for a tune now we know for sure.

Married to stunning Scots actress Kelly Macdonald the rocker was spotted in a London street listening to his trendy new iPod.

The band's new single, Love Will Come Through, already has the seal of approval of the Royal Mail. The song could give the Glasgow band their biggest hit since Sing hit No.3 in 2001, thanks to the Royal Mail which is currently using the track on its TV adverts.

The ad, which features the song's instrumental section, began airing on Monday. The song, from the band's latest 12 Memories album, is released on March 22, backed by two songs by bass player Dougie Payne, Know Nothing and Good For Nothing.
