THE HOT 50.

Byline: RACHEL MAINWARING

MEET stunning Emma Grattidge - the winner of Wales on Sunday's Hot 50 women 2010.

The current Miss Gower Polo, a finalist in this year's Miss Great Britain competition, Emma certainly has a bright future ahead of her.

Aged 18, she celebrated the "amazing" news by completing her final A-level exam this week and going out for a drink with her sister Kirsty and a group of friends.

Emma, who is 5ft 8in and a size six to eight, said: "I don't know what to say except thank you very much. It's a huge surprise and I'm over the moon. I've been revising for my A-levels in Law, PE and aWelsh baccalaureate and they're just about to finish and this is lovely news.

"I've done a bit of modelling in the past and was chosen as the Face of Moda 2010. I entered and got through to the final at Rock the Catwalk in October last year and went on to win, which was fantastic.

"Then a week last Friday I was chosen as Miss Gower Polo, which means I go in to the Miss Great Britain finals in November. I really enjoyed the show and it's such an honour to be chosen to represent Gower Polo."

Emma, who is from Mumbles, keeps her enviable figure by working out, although she admits she hasn't done as much this last year because she's been busy with her studies.

She said: "I used to do a lot of gymnastics and trampolining and loved to go to funky pumps fitness classes but I need to get back into it. Once I've got my exams out of the way, I'm going on holiday to Florida and will try and do some exercise when I get back."

Emma said she would love to be a professional model - although she never likes to admit it because she worries people will think she is vain.

She said: "I would like to model but I'm never really keen to tell anyone that.

"It's my dream and I'd really like to do it."

And, judging by these pics, she certainly knows what she's doing!
