 WHO: Tom Barker of Ford Motor Company's Alternative Fuel
 Vehicle Engineering Department, but a gent who speaks
 in layman lingo.
 BACKGROUND: Event is part of Natural Gas Vehicle Show, a major
 conference at which hundreds of fleet managers and
 other transportation representatives from the
 Carolinas will learn about the natural-gas-vehicle
 topic firsthand.
 Natural gas burns cleaner than gasoline. Thus, the
 environmental emissions are cut. There's lots of
 natural gas so we can reduce America's dependence on
 foreign petroleum. And it's less expensive than gas.
 A car's driving range is about 200 miles. Charlotte
 residents will want to know more.
