Berean Baptist Church - Frank Carpenter, chaplain of the Oregon Legislature, will speak at the annual Homecoming Sunday service at 10:45 a.m. at the church, 1210 Chambers St. The theme of the service is "More Treasures of the Heart." Members of the congregation may bring personal items of sentimental value to display. A potato-bar dinner will be served following the service. For information, call 345-0161.

First Evangelical Church - Minda Kleman, a missionary to Honduras, will speak at the 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday worship services at the church, 834 Monroe St. For information, call 345-2327.

Mission: Eugene - A citywide prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Skate World, 3188 Gateway Loop, Springfield. For information, call 344-7186.

Bethel Temple Faith Ministry - Pastor Bennie Moore of Portland will lead a "soul-saving crusade" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the church, 2170 W. 18th Ave. For information, call 341-3999.

The Marylike Crusade - The Rev. Isaac Jogues will lecture on "What Has Happened to the Catholic Church" at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Lion Hotel, 205 Coburg Road. Associated with the traditional Roman Catholic Church, the Marylike Crusade is an apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima. The Rev. Jogues will discuss predictions made by the Blessed Virgin Mary in her apparitions over the past 150 years and provide a detailed chronology of the changes within the Catholic church over the past 38 years. Church of God Seventh-day - Randy Miller willbe featured in a concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 820 Diamond Hill Road, Harrisburg. A studio musician, Miller is a former member of the Kingsmen Quartet. Cornerstone will also perform. For information, call (541) 554-0474.

Ad-Olam, Synagogue Without Walls - High Holy Days services with Rabbi Hanan Sills and Friends will begin with Rosh Hashanah services at 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Sept. 27 at Unity of the Valley Church, 3912 Dillard Road. Yom Kippur services will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at Temple Beth Israel, 2550 Portland St., and 10 a.m. Oct. 6 at Unity of the Valley Church.
