Cascade Center for Spiritual Living - The Rev. Stna Knez will speak on "Trust Your Gut" at the 10 a.m. service Sunday at 500-D Main St. in Springfield, and Theresa Schumacher will provide music. A children's program is available during the service. 541-747-3887 or info@cascadecsl.org.

Center for Spiritual Living Eugene - "Does Spirit Talk to Us?" is the Rev. Marcia Pearce's topic for the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday at 390 Vernal St. Music will be provided by Matt Treder, Mo Schneider and the JoyNotes. Tools for Successful Living at 7 p.m. Wednesday will be a service with the Rev. Diane Moen. 541-485-0035, office@csleugene.com or csleugene.org.

Grace Lutheran Church - Two adult Bible Study groups meet at the church at 710 E. 17th Ave. on Wednesday mornings. The Men's Bible Breakfast study begins at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast and study, in Room 5; the current topic is the book of Ezekiel. The Women's Bible Study group meets at 10 a.m. in Room 5, studying Scripture readings for the coming Sunday service. 541-342-4844 or graceeugene.org.

Church Women United - "Democracy is Work: The Struggle for Justice" is this month's topic and includes the group's joint voter registration project with the League of Women Voters and a presentation from the ACLU on voter rights. Ballot measure guides will be available from the Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon and the Rural Organizing Project. The meeting will be 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Friday at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 1685 W. 13th Ave. 541-554-2646 or aobdob@pacinfo.com.

Center for Sacred Sciences - A daylong meditation will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 4, including sitting meditation with periods of walking meditation or qigong, at 5440 Saratoga St. The session includes basic instruction, practice and dialogue, facilitated by a teacher or student at the center. There will be a lunch break. Participants may attend the morning session (10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) or the afternoon session (1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.). A donation of $20 to $50 is welcome but not required. 541-345-0102 or centerforsacred sciences.org.
