THE BEACH COMES TO THE CITY.

SANDCASTLES, donkey rides, trampolines, hook a duck, deck chairs, and a surf simulator will be in place in Liverpool city centre throughout August.

City Central BID and the 650 businesses it represents have set up a summer programme of events. The main attraction is at Williamson Square from August 6 to 27 as it will be transformed into a beach and will have everything from sand, donkey rides through to hook a duck to trampolines, and courtesy of The Playhouse Theatre there will be clothes chests full of costumes for kids to play dress up with.

The summer programme will all be taking place in the heart of the city centre in a bid to help boost trade, raise awareness and encourage footfall whilst providing enjoyment for the general public.

In addition an additional programme of events will run each Thursday in August from 4pm till 7pm.
