THE BANK OF NEW YORK SELECTED BY AEGON INSURANCE COMPANY AS WORLDWIDE CUSTODIAN

 NEW YORK, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bank of New York announced today that Aegon Insurance Company (AIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the international Dutch insurance group, has selected the Bank as its Worldwide Custodian. Aegon's assets are valued at over $250 million and are located in numerous countries around the world.
 The Bank will provide custody for AIC's invested assets, arrange settlements and collect investment dividends on the Fund's investments on a worldwide basis.
 Thomas J. Perna, Executive Vice President and Head of the Bank's Securities Processing Sector, said, "The recognition we have received for our commitment to developing superior products and client services is encouraging.
