TERYL RESOURCES ACQUIRES NEW DIAMOND PROPERTY; WILL DRILL POTENTIAL KIMBERLITE PIPE THIS WINTER

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- Jack Marr, vice president of Exploration for Teryl Resources Corp. (Vancouver: TRC) and former regional manager for Kennecott Canada Inc., has acquired a second diamond property, on behalf of Teryl. One potential kimberlite pipe has already been identified and will be drilled this winter.
Teryl Resources Corp. has agreed in principle to enter into an option agreement with Consolidated Newgate Resources Ltd. and Central Geophysics Limited. Teryl will, under the terms of the agreement, earn a 25-percent interest in 22 claims, in a designated area of mutual interest covering just under 1 million acres in northern Ontario. The property, located close to the Manitoba border, has the potential to become a new diamond area play.
Nine possible craters have been discovered on the property by utilizing a unique method of locating kimberlite pipe targets. The method, created by Dr. Bruce Wilson, Ph.D., who is also a director of Consolidated Newgate Resources Ltd., involves volcanology, air photos and geophysics to identify crater structures that are potential kimberlites.
Dr. Wilson has a distinguished career in diamond exploration as a former consultant for Selection Trust in London, England, where he was active in diamond exploration in Africa, and as assistant director for Exploration for INCO.
Details of this agreement will be announced when finalized.
Teryl is also awaiting results of microprobe studies from Kennecott Canada Inc. on its joint venture property in the Lac de Gras region, only 20 miles from Dia Met~BHP Utah's diamond discovery in the Northwest Territories.
