 TERADYNE SELLS MIXED-SIGNAL TESTERS TO MOTOROLA
 BOSTON, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ --Motorola, Inc.'s (NYSE: MOT)


Semiconductor Products Sector has purchased six A450 mixed-signal IC test systems, Teradyne (NYSE: TER) announced today. The order is valued at more than $5 million.
 One of the A540 testers has been delivered to Motorola's MOS Digital-Analog IC division in Austin, Texas, and another to Motorola's Bipolar Analog IC Division in Tempe, Ariz. The latter division will take delivery of four more A540 systems at production facilities in Tempe and Mesa, Ariz., and in Hong Kong during 1992. The systems will be used in engineering characterization and production testing of mixed-signal telecommunications, computer peripheral, and consumer integrated circuits. With the A540 purchase, both Motorola divisions add to an existing A500 family tester installed base.
 Teradyne is a diversified manufacturer of automatic test equipment, connection systems, and design automation software. Its stock is traded on New York Stock Exchange (Symbol: TER).
