 Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Temple University
 Hospital.

 Details:
 A $1 million grant by the SmithKline Beecham Foundation now provides Temple University Hospital with a state-of-the-art vascular/ interventional suite for its Department of Diagnostic Imaging, being renamed today in honor of SmithKline Beecham. The suite will lend new strengths to many hospital programs, including those for the advancement of healthcare in North Philadelphia. As the chairman of the SmithKline Beecham Foundation, Tom Landin, explained, "This grant does more than express the company's dedication to excellence in medicine and medical education in Philadelphia. It also signifies the commitment to quality care for under-served communities and individuals that SmithKline Beecham shares with Temple University Hospital."
