TELXON CLARIFIES FULL-YEAR AND SECOND-HALF DATA

 AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Telxon Corporation (NASDAQ/NMS: TLXN) today clarified its financial expectations for the full fiscal year 1993 (ending March 31, 1993). The company said it expects revenues in the range of $235 to $242 million, with an overall loss to break even for the year. Previous revenue and earnings expectations were $255 to $265 million in revenues and $1.15 to $1.20 per share.
 Second-half revenues are expected to be in the range of $101 to $108 million with second-half income from operations at or near break- even. Non-recurring charges will be recorded in the second half and are expected to result in an overall loss in the second half.
