MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Telular Corp. today announced a realignment of its senior management team designed to further strengthen the company's dominance of fixed cellular communications throughout the U.S. and abroad.
The executive reorganization, announced by Chairman William DeNicolo, includes the promotion of James Phillips from president of U.S. operation to vice chairman of Telular Corp. Phillips' responsibilities will be expanded to include greater emphasis on relationships and partnerships with large international telecommunications companies that are of strategic importance to Telular.
"I want to congratulate Jim Phillips on his hard work and the successes that have led to Telular's tremendous growth within the past year," DeNicolo said. "Jim has helped bring new vision to this company and establish the momentum that is propelling Telular to the forefront of wireless telecommunications," he added.
An 18-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Phillips joined Telular in 1992, as part of an investment made in the company by Columbia Cellular Corp. Columbia Cellular Corp. is a leading investment services firm specializing in the wireless communications industry.
