TELEVISION FAME, FORTUNE OFFERED BY MYSOFTWARE

MENLO PARK, Calif., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- MySoftware, the business software that gives users the ability to go about their business rather than waste time learning complex software, is giving customers the opportunity to tell the world of the benefits of MySoftware.
Customers are being invited to send in their own videotaped commercial for MySoftware. "MyCommercial for MySoftware" will tell the benefits users have derived from any, or all, of the more than 20 MySoftware applications.
As an incentive, producers of the home-made commercials will receive $2,000 if their video airs. At the end of the year, the commercial judged to be the best will be awarded an additional $3,000. Every entrant will receive a free piece of the MySoftware product of their choice. The commercials will be aired nationally via cable stations ESPN, A&E, Discovery and others.
"The level of passion shown by our customers for our product is so high we believe the best way to communicate that feeling is to let the customers do it themselves," said Dave Mans, president of MySoftware.
MySoftware has gained recognition for its easy-to-use, "five minutes to learn" programs. For two consecutive years it has been named "The Best Budget Line of Software" by the Chicago Tribune. MySoftware products are designed to do one task incredibly well, and all come with a lifetime warranty. Those qualities have helped make MySoftware a leader in the blossoming micro-business software market. Micro-businesses typically employ one to 10 workers.
"MyCommercial" video entries should be kept to 15 minutes and include testimonials, illustration of application and show creativity. Producers can be as serious or as funny as they dare. The videos will be edited professionally to 30- and 60-second clips for broadcast.
Deadlines for entries are March 22, April 30 and May 30. Entrants must have an official entry form accompanying the video. Forms can be obtained by calling 415-781-2100, or 415-688-8450.
