TELEMATICS INTERNATIONAL SIGNS MODERN ELECTRONICS AS GULF RESELLER; 22 YEARS' EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST

(NASDAQ-NMS: TMAX) today announced that Modern Electronics Est., Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will resell its range of frame relay and X.25 wide area networking products in the Gulf region, establishing them as the first locally based Telematics reseller in the Middle East.
 As a subsidiary of The AL Faisalia Group, owned by HRH Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Al Saud, Modern Electronics Est. is one of the leading suppliers of turnkey wide area and local area network solutions, with expertise ranging from network planning, design and implementation, to support and network management.
 Wide Area Specialists
 With nine offices throughout Saudi Arabia staffed with specialists in network and data communication, and 22 years' experience in the Gulf marketplace, Modern Electronics will be a primary Telematics frame relay and X.25 reseller in the wide area networking sector, providing installation, implementation and full support services. The company has already made significant investments in demonstration and support systems for Telematics' ACP and PCP X.25 products.
 Telematics designs, manufactures and markets computer systems and software products for voice and data communication applications and networks. It provides a full range of frame relay products under the Network FrameXchange brand name, including frame relay switches, frame relay concentrators and frame relay access devices called FRADs.
