TEI Asia chapter in formation.
Tax Executives Institute is exploring whether to charter a chapter in Asia. TEI was founded 60 years ago in New York to provide in-house tax professionals unique opportunities for networking, benchmarking, and education, and it now was 53 chapters in the United States, Canada, and Europe.For more than a year, a group of tax executives in Asia have been working to build a new TEI chapter. While the focal point of the group remains Singapore (two of the three meetings have been held there, the third in Vietnam), members of the group hail from throughout Asia--Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia--even the United Arab Emirates. The next meeting of the group is November 8 in Singapore.
