TEENAGE GIRLS LEARN THE FACTS ABOUT SCIENCE

TEENAGE GIRLS LEARN THE FACTS ABOUT SCIENCE
Recent studies revealed that young women who fail to enter the

science fields do so because their parents and teachers don't encourage them, rather than their inherent lack of ability.
In an effort to stimulate young women's interest in science, a special program called "Women in Science" will take place tomorrow, Feb. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at Rohm and Haas Company's Spring House Research Division, 727 Norristown Road, Spring House, Pa. (Building 6, Main Conference Room).
Seniors from the Agnes Erwin School for Girls will be participating in the three-hour program which will consist of:
-- Discussions with Rohm and Haas women chemists.
-- Lectures on polymer resin synthesis, training and development, and agricultural chemicals.
-- Tours of agricultural research labs, Leathers Department.
 Coverage is invited.
