TEEN TOLD ILLNESS WAS JUST HORMONE PROBLEM.

A TEENAGER who was told her hormones were making her feel ill was later diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Katy Orme, now 19, was told by a GP that her spot bleedingwas hormonal and she was given antibiotics.

But she was devastated when tests six months later revealed she had cervical cancer.

Doctors told her that theseen her weight plummet to five stones.

Mum Hannah Orme, of Fauldhouse, West Lothian, said: ``Cancer was never considered because she was so young. When she was diagnosed, we were absolutely devastated.''
