 TECOGEN ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER RESULTS
 WALTHAM, Mass., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Tecogen Inc. (AMEX: TGN)


today reported that revenues for the three months ended Dec. 28, 1991, were $4,733,000, compared with $3,843,000 in 1990. Net income was $193,000, compared with $31,000 in 1990.
 "Product revenues rose 52 percent over the same quarter last year because of increased sales of our large-scale packaged cogeneration systems," said Marshall J. Armstrong, chairman and chief executive officer of Tecogen. "We are continuing to pursue the vehicle market for our TecoDrive(tm) natural gas-fueled engine. Blue Bird Body Company recently included TecoDrive-powered buses as a 1992 production option. Development of a fuel-injected TecoDrive engine for medium-duty trucks is progressing with support from General Motors Corporation and the Gas Research Institute."
 Tecogen Inc. manufactures, markets, and services packaged cogeneration and commercial cooling systems fueled principally by natural gas. The company also conducts research and development on low-emission natural gas engines for vehicles; pump, compressor, and electric generator drives; as well as advanced systems for clean-coal combustion and other high-efficiency gas-fueled devices. Tecogen is a public subsidiary of Thermo Electron Corporation (NYSE: TMO).
