TECHNIGEN CORPORATION ANNOUNCES OPENING OF FIRST U.S. INSTALLATION OF ITS INDOOR GOLF SIMULATOR

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Technigen Corporation (NASDAQ: TGPAF) today announced that the Technigen Indoor Golf Center at the Merv Griffin's Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, will commence operations on April 1, 1993. It marks the first installation of Technigen's proprietary golf simulator in the U.S.
Technigen announced the lease agreement with Resorts Casino in September of 1992. With the start of operations, Resorts will receive 20 percent of the gross revenues from the Technigen Indoor Golf Center, while Technigen will receive the balance on a net income basis.
The company has estimated that on an annualized basis, net income from the Resorts Indoor Golf Center will be in excess of $500,000 annually, based on six to eight hours of play per day at a rate of $30 per hour, per machine.
The Indoor Golf Center will include eight of the proprietary Indoor Golf Systems developed and produced by Technigen that allow the player to play a full 18 holes of golf with regular clubs, including putting, in a near-reality environment followed by a full analysis of each stroke. Also included in the center will be a Pro Shop.
The new Indoor Golf Center will be available for use by customers at the Taj Mahal and Showboat Casinos, which are physically linked to Resorts.
