TATEST HITS; Thinking outside the box with Nicola Methven & Mark Jefferies; SQUARE EYES.

Byline: Nicola Methven & Mark Jefferies

After years of TV drama and sitcoms Catherine Tate returns to her sketch show roots, and her best-loved characters, on tour.

Bernie the randy nurse, Geordie Georgie the aggressive fundraiser, and Lauren 'Am I bovvered?' Cooper all got rapturous receptions.

At times it felt like watching good TV repeats but there were new sketches, the best involving Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, right.

In the finale, foul-mouthed Nan was greeted at the pearly gates by St Peter, played by Billy Connolly. It's a welcome return for one of our best comic actors.

The show is on tour until December 4.
