 TARGETECH APPOINTS NORDOFF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
 MERIDEN, Conn., June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- TargeTech, Inc. today announced the appointment of Henry L. Nordoff as TargeTech's new president and chief executive officer. Nordoff joins TargeTech from American Biogenetics Sciences, where he served as president and CEO. He has more than 22 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry including senior management positions at Pfizer Inc. and Sterling Drug.
 "Hank brings to TargeTech tremendous pharmaceutical management expertise," particularly in taking products from the laboratory into the marketplace," said Samuel F. McKay, chairman of TargeTech. "He is a major addition to our management team and we look forward to many contributions as we advance the development of our Gene Drug(tm) products."
 TargeTech's Gene Drug products are based on proprietary core technology that offers a practical therapeutic approach to gene therapy by allowing for the direct intravenous injection of genes to correct genetic disorders.
 Prior to American Biogenetics Sciences, where he led the successful transition from a private to a publicly traded company, Nordhoff served as vice president of acquisitions and business development at Sterling Drug Inc. Prior to Sterling, he served for more than 16 years at Pfizer Inc., including 11 years overseas in Europe, Korea and Japan. His last position at Pfizer was director of commercial development and licensing.
 Nordoff holds an M.B.A. in finance and international business from Columbia University and a B.A. in international relations and political economy from Johns Hopkins University.
 TargeTech, Inc. is developing and commercializing injectable gene therapies based on its novel receptor-targeting technology. The company is based in Meridan, Conn.
