TALEGEN HOLDINGS (CRUM & FORSTER) 'A-' CLAIMS-PAYING WITHDRAWN BY FITCH -- FITCH FINANCIAL WIRE --

NEW YORK, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Fitch withdraws its 'A-' claims-paying ability rating on Talegen Holdings, Inc.'s (formerly Crum and Foster Insurance Co.) inter company pool, consisting of Industrial Indemnity Co., Westchester Fire Insurance Co., International Insurance Co., North River Insurance Co., and United States Fire Insurance Co.
Fitch's claims-paying ability rating was issued in support of the Friant Power Authority's $40.5 million 1983 hydroelectric revenue bonds, whose debt service since issuance was unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed through an insurance policy issued by Industrial Indemnity Co. The claims-paying rating is no longer applicable because the bondholders of this issue have been paid in full.
