TALE SPIN VIDEO GAME BASED ON #1 ANIMATED
 SYNDICATED TELEVISION SHOW
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Almost upon its arrival on the after school television scene last year, Tale Spin became the most popular syndicated animated television show for children in the United States. Now CAPCOM USA has released Tale Spin, the home video game based on the same loveable Jungle Book characters from the television show.
"Kids across the country will now be able to help Baloo the Bear on a special mission, in addition to watching his adventures every week on TV," said Joe Morici, CAPCOM senior vice president. "We expect the popularity of the show to spill over into excitement about the game as well."
In this action adventure game, it's Baloo's mission to collect and safely deliver items in his plane, the Mini Seaduck, as he tries to avoid Shere Khan, Don Karnage and their henchmen. Air battles, races, crashes and chases are all part of the no-holds-barred fun.
For play on the Nintendo Entertainment System, Tale Spin retails for $49.95.
Tale Spin is the latest release in a long line of successful Disney theme video games from CAPCOM USA, that include Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, and Mickey Mousecapade. All of CAPCOM'S Disney titles are non-violent and are designed for young children to enjoy on their own or with the whole family.
CAPCOM USA Inc. was founded in 1985 as a manufacturer of arcade games. One of the first companies to produce games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, it is now a leading international video game developer. CAPCOM is setting the pace for state-of-the-art video game design and technology. The company is based in Santa Clara.
