TAKE Solutions Members Honored at Northeastern SAS User Group (NESUG) Conference.

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Today, TAKE Solutions, a leading provider of global Life Sciences products and services announced that two key employees had been honored at the 20th NESUG conference in Baltimore, MD. Lex Jansen, Senior Director Clinical Information Systems and Qin Lin, Programming Project Lead, TAKE Solutions, Applied Clinical Intelligence division were both highlighted as industry experts.

Lex Jansen was honored in the opening session as "SAS online proceedings guru." His personal website (www.lexjansen.com) is well established in the global SAS community and SAS Institute as an extensive resource for finding SAS-related conference proceedings and is used by SAS users worldwide. Currently there are already more then 6000 links to SAS-related conference proceedings on his website.

Qin Lin was awarded a speaking opportunity which was delivered to over 100 attendees at the NESUG conference. The session, entitled Tips and Tricks in Creating Graphs Using PROC GPLOT, was very well received. It highlighted Restructuring data to create error bars using the Interpol interpol=hiloctj option, building a common reference line for a plot with two different y-axes, and aligning the value of BY variables in the title of plot by using #BYVAL() along with many other useful and cutting edge ideas for using SAS/GRAPH.

The Northeast SAS Users Group (NESUG) is a regional SAS user group serving the northeast part of the USA. Nearly 700 SAS users shared experiences during 200 presentations and workshops in this conference.
