HOLON, Israel, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Tadiran Limited (NYSE: TAD) will be supplying over 10,000 additional SINCGARS tactical communications radios to the U.S. Armed Forces, the company announced today.
In prepared remarks to be delivered tomorrow to a New York meeting with institutional investors, Moshe Horowitz, Tadiran's vice president and chief financial officer, notes that the U.S. military's decision to exercise the third option under one of its SINCGARS contracts is a further development which reflects Tadiran's efforts to increase its worldwide sales in both military and civilian markets.

In the first half of 1993 revenues totaled $407 million, 38 percent of which represented sales to the military market and the remainder to the civilian market.
