Mobile operator T-Mobile Hungary has confirmed it has expanded its 3G/HSDPA network to incorporate 14 more cities, enabling subscribers in 41 cities to connect via broadband to the Internet.
The operator has introduced service in Budakeszi, Balatonszeplak, KaposvAr, NyiregyhAza, SzekesfehervAr, Szombathely, Taksony, Tihany, SalgotarjAn, SzekszArd, Zalaegerszeg, Urom, Dunakeszi and VeresegyhAza.
According to T-Mobile Hungary, its subscribers can access data speeds of up to 3.6Mb/s, with download speeds of up to 7.2Mb/s and upload speeds of 1.45Mb/s offered in some parts of the Budapest network.
The operator is enabling customers taking up a one or two year subscription to use the Internet for half the price until the end of the year, equating to HUF2,895 per month for the 2GB Internet tariff packages.
